Dealing with “Gatekeepers” (Withholding agents)

1. What do do

The approaches documented on this site are highly unconventional and unfamiliar to nearly all people. This invites a Dunning-Kruger response from withholding agents, businesses, and financial institutions. When dealing with these people, practicing the “art of the deal” is paramount. All the knowledge in the world is useless without people skills. The “art of the deal” consists of posturing yourself as:

  1. Law-abiding. Use only terms found in the statutes and regulations. Don’t invent your own terminology.
  2. Helpful.
  3. Patient.
  4. Empathetic.
  5. Giving them the benefit of doubt if they are not complying with the law rather than accusing them of criminal activity.
  6. Asking rhetorical or Socratic questions that gently lead them to agree with you.
  7. Asking them if the conversation is recorded and even inviting recording of the conversation. This makes it look like you don’t think you are doing anything wrong and you just want to protect them.
  8. Insisting on written evidence of everything they tell you. If they resist, they look like they think they are doing something wrong.

It takes less that 60 seconds to dispense with the common presumptions and misconceptions at the bank using:

  1. 26 C.F.R. §1.1-1(c) – “citizen” (of U.S.^P)
  2. 26 U.S.C. §873 – U.S. national = NRA
  3. 22 C.F.R. §51.1 – national = citizen & non-citizen national

60 seconds—all using THEIR terms!! The bank executive or clerk will be speechless.

Remember:

“No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Most gatekeepers are just doing what they are trained to do and pushing buttons they were told to push. They put little real thought or analysis into what they do on a daily basis. Introducing AI into the workplace will make this problem even worst. Only when you take the above position will you see timely success with the least pushback or resistance in pursuing the lawful goals you have as described on this website.

2. What NOT to do

The least effective means guaranteed to produce pushback would be such things as:

  1. Using UNCONVENTIONAL terminology not found in statutes and regulations like “state citizen” or “American national”.
  2. Raising your voice.
  3. Coming unprepared or being hyper-emotional (like most Democrats).
  4. Dressing in an unkempt matter so you look like an untrustworthy hoodlum.
  5. Being nervous or impatient.
  6. Hiding anything or objecting to telephonic recording.
  7. Making accusations of criminal violations instead of asking questions.
  8. Handing them a paper blizzard of documentation that they will throw in the round file as soon as you walk out of the room.

Using unconventional terms that come with emotional baggage or accusations of being a “conspiracy theorist” will just shut them down. Trigger words in this category include:

  1. State citizen. Legitimate but not found in statutes or regulations.
  2. American national. Legitimate but not found in statutes or regulations.
  3. Sovereign citizen. Not even defined. See:
    https://sedm.org/Forms/08-PolicyDocs/RebFalseArgSovereignty.pdf

The reason to avoid criminal accusations is that a real, prosecutable crime in a withholding or reporting scenario results only when:

  1. You identify the statute documenting the specific crime.
  2. You tie their behavior to the statute and the facts.
  3. You gather court-admissible evidence of the harmful behavior.
  4. You notify them they are participating in the crime so they surrender plausible deniability. Once they have been informed its a crime, their actions satisfy the criteria for “mens rea” and can be prosecuted.
  5. You refer them to the DOJ and IRS for criminal prosecution and provide the evidence.
  6. The DOJ and IRS take action to prosecute. They will never prosecute if prosecuting the crime destroys their revenue source. They love money more than justice most of the time.

The above process can take years, and often expires before the five year statute of limitations for most tax crimes and the seven year statute of limitation for tax crimes. NOBODY IS GOING TO HOLD A REPORTING COUNTERPARTY CRIMINALLY LIABLE.. …EVER. Not when it destroys their revenue, which derives mostly from said crimes.

So taking the stance that what they are doing is criminal will just ruin your own chances because you look like a whack-a-doodle.

3. Conclusions

Overcoming “gatekeepers” is the theme of the Bible Book of Ezra. You can learn a lot from reading that book on this subject. Ezra shows that God is 100% in control of the outcome. It’s how we behave and react that determines if we’re blessed, or get to march around in the wilderness for decades until we change.

Taking the right approach with the gatekeepers is really important to work on now. Because digitally-run systems with AI interface are coming. When that happens, the barriers will be even higher to exit the plantation. You have a small window which is closing rapidly. Being a wrecking ball will not help you. You have to litigate.

REMEMBER: This is literally the biggest CHESS game on the planet because the love of money is the root of all evil. You have to think several moves ahead of your opponents. Mass deception using words of art are what makes everyone a prisoner. To escape the gravity that keeps you in orbit around the black hole that hides the real truth is a monumental effort that should be done thoughtfully and patiently.

Play the long game!
